– Static converters having both of the following characteristics:(i) Capable of continuously producing, over a time period of 8 hours, 20 kV or greater with current output of 1 A or greater;(ii) Current or voltage stability better than 0,1 % over a time period of 8 hours.– Excluding: High voltage power supplies for ion sources, having all of the following characteristics: capable of continuous operation; output voltage not less than 20.000 V; output current of 1 A or greater; and voltage stability better than 0,01 % over a time period of 8 hours.– Not of a kind used for automatic data-processing machines and units thereof and telecommunication apparatus; not accumulator or battery chargers with a rated capacity exceeding 100 kVA; not rectifiers; not inverters.
