How do I search the control lists?

Open Control lists. You can search by:

  • HS code – full or first digits;
  • CAS number – for chemicals;
  • List code – for example an EU ECCN;
  • Keyword – for example "centrifuge", "carbon fibre".

Results are ordered with Viet Nam's lists first, then the EU list, then other multilateral regimes. Each entry states the issuing instrument, the responsible ministry and the cross-reference to the EU list where one exists.

Viet Nam's lists currently comprise the entries in Circular No. 30/2026/TT-BKHCN and Circular No. 42/2026/TT-BCT. The other lists are for comparison and do not replace Vietnamese instruments.
