On the afternoon of 27 March, in Hanoi, the National Focal Point of Vietnam for countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction held a conference to review the implementation of Decree No. 81/2019/ND-CP of the Government on countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (Decree 81) for the 2019-2024 period. Colonel General Vo Minh Luong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defence and Head of the National Focal Point of Vietnam for countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Colonel General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; and representatives of central ministries and sectors and localities.
