a. Tellurium (Te) nguyên tố có độ tinh khiết từ 99,9995 % trở lên;
b. Đơn tinh thể (kể cả tấm wafer epitaxy) của bất kỳ vật liệu nào sau đây:
1. Cadmium zinc telluride (CdZnTe), có hàm lượng kẽm nhỏ hơn 6 % tính theo 'phần mol';
2. Cadmium telluride (CdTe) ở mọi độ tinh khiết; hoặc
3. Mercury cadmium telluride (HgCdTe) ở mọi độ tinh khiết.

Trong phạm vi 6C002.b.1., 'phần mol' được định nghĩa là tỷ số giữa số mol ZnTe và tổng số mol CdTe và ZnTe có trong tinh thể.
